Come learn the djembe with Catherine Veilleux. She teaches the art of djembe, tradition and culture. Catherine, teacher and artist, was trained by Guinean master drummers. Her djembe courses are both authentic, fun and challenging!

Group class Spring 2012 This will be the last semester of the season. Class will resume in September.

Drum classes in Ottawa:
4 week djembe class at Church of ascention, 253 Echo Drive, Ottawa.
Classes will be held Monday May 7-14-21-28th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
All levels welcomed.
I will teach Guinean style drumming with the cultural references that goes with the playing. The beginners will learn the basic accompaniment parts and those more experimented may learn dundun playing and solo phrases as well.
Price: $100 All taxes included. Drum Rental $3/class or $30 for the full month.

Beginner

Seniors

I teach mostly traditionnal Guinean percussion with djembe and dunduns. I teach in french and english.

Djembes available to rent 3$/class or 30$/month. Please let me know when registering.
